The print is a synthesis of prototypical and leading edge techniques in photography. Digitally printed "Giclee", the image was created on Fuji NPS in 4"x 5" negative format on a Tachihara large format Field camera, under the traditional dark cloth using fundamental manual techniques for aperture, shutter speed and focus.

"Sometimes you just get lucky..."

Sometimes the hour after the photographic "magic hour" for light is even more spectaular. Sometimes you just get lucky that the sun, the evening hour, and you, find yourself in the same place and you have the good fortune to look up.
